Victor Silcov was born in Moldova on May 18, 1997. He holds a third-year diploma and says he has never been very good at studying. Yet, his passion is rewarding him, because he was named Student of the Month at r12. At 18 he had to give up everything to go to his country's army.
What brought him to the world of music and DJs? Love for electronic music. Silcov says that this is everyone's passion: there are those who listen more and those who listen less. "I, for example, listen to it 17 hours a day, from Monday to Sunday". The passion for djing was born at the age of 14 when Silcov went to his first party: "I saw this human being who moved the keys and I remember that he worked with Virtual DJ, I remember that I stared at him for 4 hours straight until I didn't go home. I immediately thought that my passion for DJing would have sprung from there. "
Then the genres that Silcov likes are the EDM, the minimal and the American trap. But he also listens to the techhouse and electronic music. His favorite piece is Quintino and Gia Koka, "Unbroken" but also "Open Your Eyes" by Carl Cox and "M. A. A. D. City" by Kendrick Laman.
Lately, Silcov has decided that for some time he will engage with r12 in the studios. He also wants to consolidate his presence on social media like Instagram. On July 20, Silcov will play at a private party and reveals: "I am not yet engaged on the production front. For me that is an important step that will start in September".
